News of the World hacked missing girl’s phone, alleges Guardian

According to The Guardian news website, British tabloid the News of the World illegally interfered with police investigations into the case of Millie Dowler, who went missing in 2002.

The image on the right is from the NotW‘s website, with controversy over ‘The Snitch’ and its flagrant placement on the website.

It is an utterly revolting case, and sums up the depravity of tabloid journalism at its worst.
